Austria Pics

Well I'm in France now, Damiatte to be exact, and I'll make a few posts to get up to speed with everything. Here are a few of my favorite pics from Austria before I sum it all up...

The pictures are of....me with my greased up food at the music festival, Tascha serving beer at the festival, my awesome new haircut before we shaved it off, me destroying stuff, Tascha's dad grilling out for the BBQ, our BBQ with the Hungarian girls before the bike ride the next day, and biking through Austria on our way to Hungary. Then it was off to Budapest!

  1. Matt,

Good to see you are learning life skills like learning about wine- I know your Dad was excited about the construction skills but believe me that gets old, expensive and stressfull when you have a day job. To this day I lovingly curse Stuart for showing me how to wallpaper. You know once you know how you can't be ignorant and let someone else do- remember that as you gain life skills. These skills will be with you for life and some future wife will have new expectations for you and you can't say "I don't know how" anymore. You know when you say yes on these "jobs" it cuts into Bike riding and other more fun stuff. Just my peice of advice for you- be careful what you post- even if you want to secretly learn about new things.

Speaking of day jobs that is all that is going on in our side of the world- Carol is closing mortgage after mortgage - times are pretty good in San Antonio. We are not experiencing the recession like some of the other East and West coast cities. Our economy is generally good. Erin is prepping for the wedding next month and that is a fulltime job in and of itself with lots of real support from Carol and Kate and my moral support is always offered. I am closing in on go live date for my system conversion- we are compeltely replacing our non clinical operational platforms. Wish me luck- 8.3.09 is around the corner- so far integrated functional testing is going well.

Had to laugh when I saw the crew cut- Last time I saw that you were 8. It's a good look.

Love to you from the Connolly's
